Unrivaled Support
With a 4:1 guest-to-guide ratio and 4–5 staff on every trip, you’re never just along for the ride. From guides on the road to chefs and support drivers, our team adapts to your group’s pace, energy, and goals. Most tour operators have two staff; we double that because details matter.
The Food
This isn’t your average cycling trip food. Our chefs prepare home-cooked meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, even in the most remote destinations. While we enjoy the occasional night out, most meals happen at our home base, where good food and conversation bring everyone together.
Many other operators eat out every night; we make dinner part of the experience.
The People
Our people make the difference. From guides and chefs to our repeat guests, the human connection is what defines The Cycling House. Many of our guests have taken 10, 20, or even 30+ trips. Friendships that start on the bike last for years. We are grateful to have shared many great two-wheeled adventures with our guests over the last 20 years. We started way back in 2005 and look forward to many more years.
The TCH Team
We’re a small, tight-knit crew who genuinely loves what we do. Our guides know each region like home; they ride every mile with you, offering encouragement, snacks, and a wheel when you need it most. It’s not just a job; it’s a lifestyle.
The Accomodations
We choose accommodations that foster connection, not isolation. Think shared meals, fireside laughs, and a house full of stories instead of big hotels where everyone disappears to their rooms. It’s camp vibes for adults, in the best way possible.
The Rides
At our core, we’re a cycling company. Each day revolves around the ride. Big climbs, scenic routes, and post-ride recovery done right. Sure, we love good wine and local flavor, but it’s best paired with a fun day in the saddle.
Small-Business Roots
Founded in 2005 by Owen Gue, The Cycling House remains owner-led, with no outside investors. That independence lets us stay true to what matters most: our guests, our people, and the simple joy of riding bikes together.
