PRESS RELEASE:
As official bike supplier, SCOTT presents fresh new look bikes for Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, and the all-new Addict RC is added to the team’s race bike roster.

As Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team kick off the 2025 season with a fresh new design, SCOTT reveals new look bikes for the team. Continuing with the results-proven Foil RC, the team now add the all-new Addict RC to their roster, with both bikes arriving in a striking new design.

For the 2025 season, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will be racing on the all-new Addict RC, alongside the race- proven Foil RC. The new Addict RC, launched in November 2024, represents a milestone in the world of cycling. With the Addict RC Ultimate bike launching at 5.9 kg, this new generation of Addict RC offers something completely unique – the lightest performance road bike on the market, with a race-ready geometry. Designed for racing at the highest level, the Addict RC is a statement of SCOTT’s commitment to innovation: incredibly light and agile, yet stiff and stable for unparalleled racing performance.

The new graphic design featured on the Addict RC and Foil RC represents the sharp, science-based focus of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. In the riders’ new moniker as “Research Scientists”, the bike designs feature emblems of the team’s commitment to “pushing forwards”, inspired by data collection and expeditions. This is all brought together in the sharp black and white contrast with flashing blue detailing – a representation of the team’s values that have always made them stand apart in the peloton.

With the Foil RC already a firm favourite, the Addict RC now also joins the top of the ranks for the riders, who have had their first official showcase of the new design at the 2025 Training Camp in Calpe. “The new Addict RC is the lightest bike I have ever ridden, and it’s incredible for a climbing bike, taking into account that it’s a disc brake bike with full internal cable routing and aero tube shaping. It’s still feeling fast on the flat and extremely agile when the road goes up, and trustworthy when descending,” says David de la Cruz, team rider at Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. The team’s newest addition, Tom Pidcock, adds, “From the first ride, the Addict RC impressed me. It’s light and nimble and gives me confidence on the descents. That’s what you need in a bike, that it gives you confidence. I really can’t wait to take it out there at the first races.”

Doug Ryder, General Manager at Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, comments, “SCOTT have been providing us with the very best race bikes in the Foil RC and Plasma RC TT since the team’s beginning. To now also be racing the new Addict RC demonstrates SCOTT’s first-class innovation and commitment to performance at the highest level. We are proud to be riding the most innovative and complete bike offering in the professional peloton.”
Reto Aeschbacher, CMO at SCOTT adds, “Working with a world-class team and riders is essential to push the boundaries of R&D and introduce product innovations like the new Addict RC. In our partnership with the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, we have the best possible platform for developing, testing and pushing the performance of SCOTT’s most race-focused products.”

The team will also continue to use the Foil RC, one of the fastest bikes in the peloton with its perfect combination of aerodynamics, light weight and comfort, as well as the aero-specialist Plasma RC TT for time trails.

The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will be using the SCOTT Cadence and Centric helmets, also featuring the fresh new design. The Cadence helmet, introduced in 2024, is SCOTT’s fastest racing helmet to date, and has undergone rigorous wind tunnel testing to ensure optimal aerodynamics, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort. Furthermore, the team will use the SCOTT Split helmet, SCOTT performance sunglasses and Syncros Tofino and Belcarra saddles.
