Since its start in 2011, Swatch Nines MTB has taken an altered approach to mountain biking by offering athletes something completely different: a creative playground where they can push their limits without the pressure of competition. It’s all about expression and progression in a fun, experimental environment.
This week, Swatch Nines MTB is in a new location—Sölden, Austria. Until Septemer 14th, the Austrian Alps will be the backdrop for Swatch Nines’ signature blend of cutting-edge course design and international MTB talent. Riders like Lukas Knopf, Kaidan Ingersoll, Sam Reynolds are riding the incredible course and a strong female cotingent includes riders like Casey Brown, Patricia Druwen
This year’s course in Sölden is next-level. It’s a massive, mind-blowing setup that combines creativity with pure scale, the result of months of collaboration between riders, designers and park builders. The design process kicked off back in January 2024 with a creative workshop where the first sketches were drawn up. Since then, riders have been part of the evolution, shaping the features into what’s sure to be an unforgettable setup.
