Italian Bike Festival 2025: Pinarello F-Series First Look

VIDEO: I recently visited the Italian Bike Festival in Misano, Italy, set right on the legendary Misano MotoGP Circuit. There’s something special about standing on a world-class racetrack surrounded by the best in Italian cycling…

As part of the festival, I joined the La Gialla Gran Fondo, which kicked off at 7:00 a.m. with a lap of the MotoGP circuit before heading out onto the local roads. Rolling around the track on a bike instead of a superbike was an incredible experience.

This was my first time at the festival, and my overall impression was that Italy’s cycling scene is thriving. The energy was high, the brands were buzzing, and it was easy to see how important this market is to Italian European brands. Without the crushing tariffs and costs that challenge the U.S. industry, Italian builders seem free to focus on designing beautiful bikes that make me want to ride.

The New Pinarello F-Series: Sleeker, Faster, and Even More Italian

Front and center at the Pinarello booth was the new F9, immediately catching my eye. While it looks similar to last year’s model at first glance, up close, you notice that everything’s been slimmed down. The down tube and seat tube are narrower, and the entire frame has been made thinner for better aerodynamics.

The fork has been redesigned, with a tweaked rake for improved handling, and the head tube is thinner as well. To make all this work, Pinarello re-engineered the internal cable routing, maintaining a clean, aero look that the brand is known for.

Right beside it, the F7 lineup offered a more affordable version that still accommodates 32mm tires, perfect for today’s riding trends.

The F5, in a striking blue, and the F3, in deep red, demonstrated the craftsmanship Pinarello is famous for.

Having seen the Pinarello paint factory firsthand, I can say these frames look even better in person.

A Time Trial Rocket

One of the true standouts was Pinarello’s new time trial bike. Its razor-thin, aerodynamic profile looks fast even standing still — a perfect example of form meeting function.

Final Thoughts

Walking the aisles at Misano reminded me why I love shows like this — the design, the passion, the Italian flair. Pinarello’s new F-Series proves the brand isn’t just maintaining its legacy; it’s evolving it.

That’s all for now — a quick look at Pinarello’s new colors and updates from the Italian Bike Festival 2025. Stay tuned for more detailed ride impressions once these bikes hit test fleets.
